Gilles Gagnon Mr. Gagnon, Senior Partner of DigiPlan TEC, specializes in strategic planning for high-tech companies. His work includes the development of several business plans, marketing plans and pro-forma (P&L), interacting at all levels of industry, governments and financial institutions. Before joining DigiPlan TEC, Mr. Gagnon was Sector Manager for microelectronic and photonic at Industry Canada * Responsible for the marketing of government services. * Review and analysis of business plans. * Preparation of recommendations to senior government officials for financial assistance for projects (R&D, capital expansion) and for export marketing activities. * Gathering of sectors intelligence and activities. * Participation at numerous trade shows. * Management of market opportunity studies. * Assisting with the organization of incoming and outgoing trade missions. * Organizing various activities to assist the industry such as market studies, breakfast meetings, diagnostic studies as well as liaison with other government departments (federal, provincial and municipal). Mr. Gagnon received his electrical engineering degree from the University of Montreal (Ecole Polytechnique) and numerous management courses at McGill Management School. Before joining DigiPlan TEC, Mr. Desmarteau has occupied key positions in large and small companies. To name a few, he was involved in the development and implementation of a marketing plan for an electronic and software R&D Service Company, leading to double the sales in 18 months. He was also responsible for the implementation of an ISO 9001 quality system. He realized the development of a new data acquisition and process system used in hydro-electric transportation, etc. Mr. Desmarteau received his electrical engineering degree from the University of Montreal (Ecole Polytechnique) and his M.B.A. from the University of Sherbrooke. |
